Riverside FFA Members Attend Washington Leadership Conference
Two members of the Riverside FFA Chapter attended the National FFA Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) the week of July 22 – 27, 2008. They joined hundreds of other members from across the nation to develop their leadership skills to the highest level. Focusing on problem solving, relationship building, character, and serving others, WLC teaches FFA members how to have a positive impact on their school, chapter, community, state, and country. While in Washington, DC, FFA members visited many historical sites such as the Vietnam Wall, Lincoln Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, and the White House. The Riverside FFA members also had the opportunity to meet United States Senator Bob Corker.
